A residential program is designed for those who want to address their mental health challenges at a comprehensive level and who require the structure and clinical intensity not available through outpatient treatment programs.[1]
The majority of people treated at Helios West Palm have previously attempted to seek help for mental health issues through other methods. Many have sought therapy, and others have been through treatment programs at some point in their lives. However, despite having attempted different approaches, the core component of their mental health condition that was driving their struggles — depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or other complex conditions — was only partly treated or not treated at all.
The Helios West Palm residential program was created for adults who are not seeking long-term institutional care, but rather for adults who have made a commitment to making meaningful progress in improving their mental health with the appropriate support system.
If you or someone you know has tried other approaches to mental health care and found that they have not been successful, residential mental health treatment at Helios West Palm may be the level of care that will finally make a difference.
