Helios West Palm is a private residential mental health facility located near West Palm Beach, Florida, focusing on adults suffering from mental illness. Our mission is to help those who have been struggling with serious mental illness for some time, offering a high level of care and 24/7 support in an environment that is safe and therapeutic. Helios West Palm is licensed as an RTF Level 1A Residential Treatment Facility and provides care at the LOCUS Level 5 / ASAM 3.5 level of care — among the highest and most intensive levels of residential psychiatric treatment available outside of a hospital.
Many adults we work with at Helios West Palm have been in treatment before — whether it has been therapy, outpatient programs, or, in some cases, even prior residential treatment — and they still have not found long-term relief. This often happens because the treatments they received addressed only the visible issues, leaving the underlying factors that caused the main issue unaddressed. That is why we approach each patient with individualized care.
Every patient receives a full psychiatric evaluation at admission and develops their treatment plan based on their unique history, their diagnosis, and what they hope to accomplish. There are no set templates — treatment plans are never a one-size-fits-all solution. Just evidence-based practices delivered by a care team that takes the time to understand who you are and where you’re coming from.
We provide individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and medication management, plus holistic modalities such as art, music, yoga, and family programming to create a complete treatment experience that addresses the whole person, not just the clinical picture.
Helios West Palm is not a primary addiction treatment or detox facility; however, we have a thorough understanding of dual diagnosis and approach it with the same care and attention we bring to all of our patients.

Located in Palm Beach County, the facility is situated in a serene, private, and thoughtfully designed setting away from the sounds and stressors of daily life, and is arranged according to the rhythms of recovery.
The residential living spaces are furnished and designed for comfort and are a demonstration of the belief that dignity and quality of the living environment are essential components of treatment. In addition to the residential living spaces, the facility includes dedicated therapy rooms, common areas, and immediate access to outdoor areas that support each patient’s program. The ambiance is upscale yet not institutional, private without being isolating, and structured without being rigid.
